Square Peg In a Round Hole?

As we move further into the realm of Preservation Services we have seen it all. Quality seems to go downhill as National firms are not providing proper nor legal services.

A primary example of this is the tendency of some firms to do a "trash out" service prior to the homeowner completely moving out. Providing no storage for personal property prior to the receivership. This is illegal in most states and should be viewed on a case by case basis. Equicore has provided storage for personal items for the required amount of time where needed.

The National firms that hire local contractors also have performed shady or non complete services. In Minnesota for instance you cant provide a half winterization - It needs to be done to full specifications to provide protection of the banks asset. In some states licensed plumbers are required to perform a proper winterization.

It just seems that in our experience that quality over all is suffering. We understand that the banks wish to keep costs to a minimum. If that savings translates into more time in managing these tasks, shoddy work, damages, and overall leaving open doors for a lawsuit it is no savings.

We feel it is high time local or regional preservation firms pull together to provide quality services. Nationals have turned equity preservation into a low cost butter churn of potential disasters. We are in a business of protecting assets for profit, not to be a middleman and skim profits so that quality in the end suffers.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://equicore.blogspot.com/2009/12/quality-preservation-services-square.html' title='Quality Preservation Services? Equicore is sensative to the needs of our animal friends.

We have until now had them taken to local no kill shelters but this is getting to be a separate position within our firm as this has increased 10 fold in the past few months. It breaks our heart to see these animals left for dead and LOCKED in properties. Winter is fast approaching and will not make our job easier.

Equicore has partnered with the National ASPCA to find homes for these pets. We will continue to donate to this cause on a per pet basis.

If you are facing foreclosure or need to vaccate a property please contact our office and we can direct you to the appropriate office to handle your pets need. We are posting this as a community service for those in need. Please see our website at www.Equicore.Com and either call or email us if you need help with this. We cannot stand to see this happening and we understand the position some are in. We wish to work with you, not look down on you for forced choices. We just want whats best for your pets as we sure you are as well.

Thanks

Homeowners in Foreclosure BEWARE!

The foreclosure process is difficult for both borrower and lender.

Foreclosures are at an all time high and something needs to be done to address the growing amount of damages to property. Defaulted borrowers are resorting to damages, stripping homes, stealing appliances, etc.

Foreclosure is a process no one wants or expects to go through. The emotions of the default borrower are the most important part of this. Emotions from anger to sadness can dictate how the defaulted borrower feels and results in their actions.

Borrowers have to be aware that if they damage or strip a home the bank will pursue them criminally thereby making matters worse. The bank has all of your information and tracking you down is not that hard for local law enforcement.

It is terrible when it happens and for the varying reasons, but homeowners should think twice before trying to "leverage" their loss by theft or damages.

http://Equicore.com
